Nana Araj is a London based rapper and singer who blends Hip Hop, R&B and Drill. She is of Ghanaian heritage.
She started songwriting and poetry at the age of 12 and rapping four years later. She already feels confident with her flow and has developed a unique style, combining melody and rap. She is a prolific writer and creative.
Her music career started off in 2019 when she self-released her first song on Ditto Music called ‘Heartbreak’ released featuring Country Girl. She also released ‘Where Are You’, ‘Thirsty’, ‘You’re A Bad Bunny’ and ‘Passionate’. Each of her songs achieved over a thousand streams. She’s been in the up and coming in the music scene in the UK for a few years now but she’s promoting herself to make her music noticeable.
Nana has developed her own craft for some time in her career. She was compared to another female rapper by one of her peers, but has now found her own flow and lyricism. Her biggest inspiration is Ms Banks.
In July 2022, Nana performed her upcoming song ‘Shine Up’ at her first headline show ‘Rap-Ture’ in Guildford and performed with the North African rapper Raouf Adear at the Dig Deep Project Tour in October 2022.
